Released in July of 2010, this model represents the "Outpost in Space" from the Victor Appleton II (Stratemeyer Syndicate) novel, "Tom Swift and His Outpost in Space," and is based on the artwork on the novel's cover. The model was created for the Tom Swift 100th Anniversary Convention held July 16-18, 2010, in San Diego, California.
The model itself is in the home of friends who have a vast collection of Stratemeyer Syndicate works.
